Tuesday Mornings – Discover & Explore courses dependent on coach availability
Tuesday Mornings – coach supported recreational paddling
Tuesday Race training – 5:30 pm on the water – all year – Training Coordinator
Thursday evening (April – October) – 5:45 – Touring skills development
Thursday Race training – 5:30 pm on the water – all year – Training Coordinator
Saturday Race training – 9.00 am on the water except Hare and Hounds Days (usually the third Saturday of the month) – Training Coordinator

An introduction to forms of Kayaking (and potentially Canoeing). Sessions will include getting on and off the water safely, moving the boat in a straight line and lots of games. The aim is to give you a introduction to the sport using the British Canoeing Start award (see https://www.britishcanoeingawarding.org.uk/new-personal-performance-awards/ for details) giving you a good overview of the sport. Sessions will be approximately 45 minutes on the water. When you register, we’ll email you with further details.

You need to bring suitable clothing for the day. You should wear clothes you don’t mind getting wet and old trainers (or wetsuit boots). The club will provide you with all other kit.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, just tell the organiser your name when you arrive.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn’t match the person who attends?
Yes, as long as you provide us with their details.
If I like canoeing / kayaking at the end of the course, can I join the club?
Of course! and to encourage you to join we’ll even subject the course fee from your first years membership!
