Tuesday Race training – 5:30 pm on the water – all year – Training Coordinator

Saturday Race training – 9.00 am on the water except Hare and Hounds Days (usually the third Saturday of the month) – Training Coordinator

Paul will be running this trip within BC and club covid guidelines but will still make it fun. You should be able to transport yourself and equipment as car sharing is not allowed yet. We also have a short list of covid do’s and don’ts to help keep everyone safe.

UPDATED – rescheduled due to lack of water! Our first planned grade 2 whitewater day trip down the Barle this season. This is an ideal follow-on trip for paddlers after the Yat or Shepperton, for anyone wanting to refresh skills, blow the cobwebs away or enjoy a day on the river in fab scenery. Weekend river trip, choosing the best of South Wales on the day but aiming for one oi the grade 2 or grade 2(3) rivers around Builth Wells – hopefully the Upper Wye and Lower Irfon. Ideal for paddlers who have previously paddled the Barle or The Yat, as well as more experienced paddlers wishing to wash the cobwebs off their paddles. Rescheduled for just one day: Saturday 11 December now – water/weather dependent of course. We’ll be paddling the River Usk – Grades 2-2(3). We will choose the exact river and sections depending on paddler abilities, weather and water levels each day although our first choice will be the Sennybridge section..
