We also run regular training sessions throughout the year:
Tuesday Mornings – supported recreational paddling – all year
Tuesday Race training – 6pm on the water – all year – Training Coordinator
Thursday Recreational Paddling in touring kayaks and open canoe – 9.30am on water – All year – Canal Cottage – Training Coordinator
Thursday Race training – 6pm on the water – all year – Training Coordinator
Saturday Race training – 9.30am on the water except Hare and Hounds Days (usually the third Saturday of the month) – Training Coordinator

Junior Paddlepower and Adult Paddle Award Courses
Tuesday evenings – Junior courses,  Paddlepower:  Passport and Discover; Adult courses Discover and Explore. 6.30 pm – Jon Freemantle

he Richmond Hasler Marathon is held from Ham House Car Park, and not from Richmond Canoe Club due to lack of parking at the club. The river is semi Tidal. Due to the time of year there usually is not much flow. RIC provide safety cover BUT paddlers should be competent at rescuing themselves in moving water. http://www.richmondcanoeclub.com

The race is held on the Dart Estuary starting from Totnes Rowing Club. The Estuary is wide and open with gently banking sides. No portages. It will be held at high tide so any flows will be gentle. Run by Exeter Canoe Club

Ocean Race – Not a Marathon Race Entry Level – depending on Conditions Running from Porth Eirias Watersports Centre, Colwyn Bay (see map below), there is ample parking, changing facilities, showers & onsite restaurant café & bar as well as safety cover on the water throughout the event.

A Hasler ranking event on the River Medway, starting and ending at Tonbridge Canoe Club. The river is narrow and slow flowing with numerous portages, depending on the race distance.All K1 and K2 divisions are included, so the event is suitable for all abilities.
