We also run regular training sessions throughout the year:
Tuesday Mornings – 1 and 2 star courses – May-Oct – Liz Murnaghan
Tuesday Mornings – coach supported recreational paddling – Nov-Apr – Liz Murnaghan
Tuesday Race training – 6pm on the water – all year – Training Coordinator
Thursday Recreational Paddling in touring kayaks and open canoe – 9.30am on water – All year – Canal Cottage – Training Coordinator
Thursday Race training – 6pm on the water – all year – Training Coordinator
Saturday Race training – 9.30am on the water except Hare and Hounds Days (usually the third Saturday of the month) – Training Coordinator

Paddlerpower, Paddlesport Plus and Adult Star Courses
Tuesday evenings – Junior courses,  Paddlepower Passport and Improver; Adult courses 1 and 2 star kayak. 6.30 pm – Jon Freemantle

The event is on the River Wey. This is generally very suitable for all classes. The river has lots of bends and depending on the flow, which can be fast, good tactics are very important. The courses are A, B, C, A. Portages are not difficult. Some classes are split into 2 starts. It is necessary to follow instruction re parking

A circuit race on the River Thames, normal Hasler distances. A natural beach as well as a pontoon false portage will be used. River traffic to be expected. Hot food and showers are available in club house. Ample free parking in field.
